Zink@4x

Universal
and versatile

The primary zinc production is supplemented by the recycling of the versatile raw material. The reuse of the available zinc takes place with an increasing tendency. In Europe, the recycling rate is even over 60 percent, worldwide it lies between 15 percent and 20 percent.

In order to conserve natural resources, various methods are used for recycling the metal. For example, galvanized steel scrap is melted down, whereby the zinc evaporates and is deposited as dust. This makes an important contribution to the circular economy. Zinc-containing waste also contributes to successful recycling.
